also which is better powder or liquid foundation and can you suggest a good one (that is hopefully not too expensive) and a good blusher? i am thinking of trying maybelline dream mousse blusher but am not sure of the ease of application and if it's any good .

I prefer the look and coverage of liquid foundation, but powder foundations are definitely more convenient, quicker, and easier to apply. I've tried Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse foundation before, it's not bad; I've heard the blusher is good too. Oh yes, to answer your question, of course you can wear a mousse/cream/liquid blusher with a powder foundation!

i like liquid/ mousse one better and a really good one is No7 mousse and it costs 11 pound.
