ok so my face tone is more like white. My friends suggested me to buy a pinkish color , but i really am not sure ? what do you guys think ? pink or ????What color of Blusher should i use?

definitely a light pinkish color! Put it right at the top of your checkbones. It will look super cute on your light skin.
I am also very pale in the face and I buy the brand 'Rimmel' and it's called 'Sun kissed';...it's almost like a bronze and it makes your cheek have just the right amount of color.

I prefer the look and coverage of liquid foundation, but powder foundations are definitely more convenient, quicker, and easier to apply. I've tried Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse foundation before, it's not bad; I've heard the blusher is good too. Oh yes, to answer your question, of course you can wear a mousse/cream/liquid blusher with a powder foundation!

For Foundation, I don't use cheaper makes as they don't suit my skintype %26amp; tone :'( %26amp; I'm allergic to minerals!!


But Bourjois aren't too bad either. Alot of people like Dream Matte Mousse. I found it too drying for my dry skin. They do a liquid too.


Rimmel is okay but a bit orangey on paler skins.

some people think that if you have darker skin, that means you can only use colours that are darker... like bronze or plum. well, the truth is, apply a very small amount of hot pink, i mean really bright to the apples of your cheeks. remember, i said a SMALL amount

when shopping for blush try pinching your finger tip and find a blush that matches your finger tip color the best . doing that will make the blush look more natural for every day use if that is what you are going for. I dont think you what it to look to artifical. reds is probroly not the best color for you more closer to bronze might work. But try the finger tip trick and see how it works out. It work for most women.
use a bronzer.. im dark also, and those work alot better for me.. and if your going for pinks and red.. try something thats not bright.. and like plum from maybelline.

Not exactly. Fair skin does not imply that you have a cool skin tone, just that you have a fair complexion...there's a difference.





Warm skin tones have red/orange hues to them (Not yellow as the first answer stated, yellow is indicative of a Neutral skin tone, but leaning more on the cool side). Cool skin tones have pink/blue (or red/blue, depending on how you want to look at it) hues to them.





Warm skin tones can wear blush but they should choose a warm color like peach, not pink. But they can also wear bronzer, just pick a shade that matches your complexion, for example a warm-fair complexion would want a very light bronzer whereas a warm-medium complexion would want a darker one, but not too dark, such as one with gold in it. The website below says rose, but I don't agree with that because rose is a color for cool complexions, so if you have a medium-cool complexion you could wear that, but not medium-warm.





Cool skin tones can wear blush and they have many options available since a cool skin tone is much more common than a warm one. They can wear bronzer as well, but they would want to choose the perfect shade such as a honey

That would look best. Warm skin tones have yellow undertones, and the bronzer would highlight this. Cool skin tones have pink and blue undertones, and this might look slightly odd with yellow bronzer. If you have a warm skin tone you can always wear a peachy blush.

its not like a regual foundation so won't give you much coverage but also wont crack because of dry skin, it wil just give your face a healthy shine, highlight your cheek bones ect. don't by any meens use powder if your skins dry it will set and crack and it looks awful same with foundation unless it has a high percentage of moisturiser in it.

LAminerals - I use their Hollywood and NoHoGlo foundations. I really like them both. The hollywood is a little heavier coverage. The NoHo is a lil more glowy, depending on your skin and how oily it is.


I love their bronzers and blushes too. I had tried some other bronzers but they like disappear when you brush them on!


I use the Lit up and Hot minute bronzer and the Pimped Mauve blusher. Oh yahoo won't let me type the dot com after LAminerals...but you get the idea.


Oh BTW...they have really cheap samples, like $1 and they shipped mine free.

Hi ... So, basically, if you want a highlight for your cheeks, I would really really recommend the Vanilla Pigment from MAC. Pigments are supposed 2 be for your eyes, but this pigment also works as a cheek highlighter.

Cheap isn't always good. I'm a beauty therapist who has seen some terrible affects that especially bronzers can do to skin.They can be extreamly congesting to the skin causing breakouts.If your goin to use a bronzer make sure its mineral based.Therefore it wont congest your skin and you can wear it everyday and not worry about the long term affects. There is some great mineral make-up out there.
When I'm being cheap I use no 7 Bronzing Beads from Boots%26lt; I recently bought a Virgin Vie Bronzer with bits of golden shimmer in it - great for summer - its lovely!

if you are in 9th grade, blush and mascara is fine. even eyeshadow and eyeliner would be ok, just don't go overboard. High school is fine for wearing makeup.

At your age the most you should be wearing is lip gloss. Are other kids your age wearing makeup? If so then use your own judgment. If not then just remember to make it look natural.
I'm not sure if you're saying age 9 or grade 9. Here's both:


age 9: Don't ruin your face too early. At such a young age you shouldn't worry about makeup and things like that. Just have fun!


grade 9: I think you should start wearing make up, but don't over do it. You don't want to look trashy. Stick to mascara, lip gloss and cover up. You can also wear a little eye shadow and eye liner but not too much.

Olive skin, no matter how light or dark, generally does better with peach, coral or bronze shades of blush. Pink is generally suited to a fairer, ';pinker'; complexion.





My skin might be similar to yours (but my eyes are dark brown, not blue). I'm light-to medium complected with rosy olive undertones. I've always used pinks or plums until recently my daughter told me, ';Mom, you are more beige. Don't use pink.'; She helped me pick out a Cover Girl blush called Soft Mink. I absolutely love it and will never use anything else. I can wear it year-round, no matter how pale or tan I am. And it's inexpensive. It's a bronzy peach. You might want to try it!
i'm fair but with olive undertones as well and i use a shimmery peachy-colored blush from rimmel. i think it looks much more natural than light pink.
the colour blush you use totally depends on the effect you are going for! If you just want to contour your face, you use one that blends into your skin tone, like peach. If you want to look fresh faced, you use a light pink on the apples of your cheeks. If you want dramatic cheekbones, you use a heavier blush again. Try the mac website for make up looks, they usually do good example pictures on there of what im talking about! Also, feel free to go back into bobbi brown or any other counter as often as you want an dannoy them with questions. Thats what they are there for and also, each person will give you a slightly different answer because they are basically giving an educated opinion (perhaps not the part timers though), not a maths equation with a definite right and wrong answer!
I'm a makeup artist and I have tan skin and use peaches and ambers on my skin. I think with your skin tone a rose pink shade would work best and make your eyes pop. If you really like peach colors Georgia by Benefit is a really good natural peach that would work best on fair tones

For a casual look, apply a small amount on the apples of your cheeks (to find them, smile and put on the round bits) or for a more glamourous look, or to make your cheekbones look more extended, make a fish face and apply from nose level in a diagonal line almost to your hairline. But be careful to blend the line in well so it doesn't look stripy. How do you apply blusher?
use a very small amount as it will look like more in a brighter light. kinda suck in your cheeks like you have fish lips and apply it along the cheek bones, but don't use too much.
Firstly, it's important to be in natural light. If your light is a lamp or something you will probably end up with huge amount of blusher on your cheeks and looking like you've just run a marathon!


1.Take a thin-ish brush and put a little blusher on it. Turn your head to the side and brush it along your cheekbones (suck your cheeks in if this helps).


2.Then take a large brush and rub along the area you have put the blusher on in a circular motion.





This makes the whole look more natural - so you can't see a line where you have put the blusher

It is really nice because it gives you a finish that is somewhere in between matte and dewy, and is in between a powder and a liquid foundation. Only apply a small amount though, or it can appear dry and cakey. I have tried many pink drugstire blushes.





My two favorites are:





Covergirl shimmering sands mineral blush (a shimmery, soft baby pink)





And Jane blushing blossom (Really pretty matte pale pink)

I love Maybelline. They make it in blush, too. I think it looks really good on my skin.. I couldn't live without that stuff.
the mousse foundation is the best because its light, shine free, and it blends well with your natural color. Your skin doesnt feel like it cant breathe, it doesnt move around like other foundations do throughout the day, and it shouldnt irritate the skin. Its clean, natural, fresh. For blush i love the mousse blushes because they go on evenly and are also light... personally i like covergirl.
Mousse foundation is great if you have dry skin. I'd say Maybelline's mousse foundation is great and so is it's Mousse blush.


But, if you want powder blush, N.Y.C's powder blush is great, too. Just pick out you favorite color. And, it's only $2.99.

You can, but usually, it's that next size way puffy brush ( sorry, don't know what that one is called) If you go with the blusher brush, get another one separate from what you apply your blush with. Try washing your brush, but make sure not to get the water above the silver part. Also do not have your brush standing when it's drying. Have it laying down or the water can go to the glue and disintegrate it then all the hairs will fall out. i've had the exact same problem. i think i went through like 3 before i settled on a boot's own one that didn't do it has excessively. (i still find loads to pick off though) x
It might be because you are being too rough with it when you are using it but using a good brush cleanser like MAC's will extend the life, disinfect and condition brushes.
depending on how long ago you bought it you should be able to complain and they will give you a new brush or some MAC vouchers .
wash it first ; thats when all of the bristles should come off.


if that does work ; go back and return it.
take it back for a refund!

Put the powder blush into a baggie or resealable bag, then crush it into a fine powder with your fingers or a heavy book. If the blush is already a fine powder, there's no need. Mix it with a really light, colourless cream or lotion; if you've got oily skin or don't want to use cream, mix it with water until you've reached a creamy consistency.

Yes, I have the NYC Mosaic powder! It is pretty good, but not the best. I would highly recommend the CoverGirl TruCheeks blush. You can order it online since you live in the U.K. but WHATEVER YOU DO do NOT but the N.Y.C. Smooth Mineral Loose Blush Power in Tender Pink!!! I got it, because it said it would fit my skin tone, but it is HORRIBLE! The colors are WAYYYY to dark, and there is a ton of glitter in there! You look like a hoochie grandma when you wear it......

There are more colors of blush other than red. Personally, I like pinks %26amp; browns. There is also a product called bronzer, it is a compressed powder that you apply with a brush. You can use it in areas were you have uneven skin tones to help blend the tone of your skin. I think if you find one that is right for you, you can use that %26amp; leave your cheeks alone, I always wanted rosey cheeks. Don't be alarmed at the color of the bronzer, mine has a lot of colors (brown, pink, orange/peach, and a darker shade of pink). I don't have uneven skin, i use it to give my face that sun-kissed look. Also, there is a skin problem called Rosasia, if your cheeks are red always, you may want to see a dermatologist. Its all up to you. If you don't want to put something on your face no one has the right to tell you that you should. Pinch your cheeks if you think you need some color. I have some of those bumps too.They look like they could turn into a zit but they don't. I wouldn't worry about them too much.

If it looks unnatural or too bright, then you should wash your face and start over. Here are some tips:





1. Smile big to bring out the apples of your cheeks (the rounded parts of your cheeks that show when you smile). That's where you should dust the blush with rounded strokes with a big, fluffy brush.


2. Always try to apply your makeup in natural light. Try to apply in the morning or afternoon facing an open window. If the makeup looks good in natural light, then it should look good in other lighting too.


3. Apply blush delicately and carefully. Don't overdo it, and step back occasionally to see what it looks like so far. Because blush isn't just something you can wipe away easily, you usually have to wash your face and start all other makeup over if you screwed up your blush.

Hey u could either watch some tutorials on youtube or follow my advice hehe =)





Okay so u say you have pale skin, so your first step should be to try and find the right colour, i would imagine a faint rosey pink with slight pigmentation, u could either go straight for the high end brands which will probably look best btw. MAC do some really good blushers as well as NARS they cost between 拢14-18 though. It is also important to have a good quality brush to be able to apply it smoothly





If you're looking for something cheaper then i would really recomend the maybelline mineral power blushes in a rosey pink, those are meant to be really good as well =)

well first make sure ur using one thats right for ur skin tone. A tip that i just learned a couple of weeks ago. Pull down your bottom lip and that shade is supposed to be ur perfect blush colour. or u could find one that suits practically anyone like nars in colour called orgasm or something thats quite sheer tone so you can build the colour on.





to apply smile and place blush on apples of cheeks and sweep and blend up into the hairline. This should give u that natural healthy glow. hope i helped. :)
You could try a cream blusher, maybelline has nice ones that look more natural than powder and maybe better for fair skin, when you use it 'smile' and put it on with your fingers you should know where to apply it.
