are there any ways to make my skin look fresh all day longg? any tips? xHow to make your makeup last longer? for foundation/blusher?
Spray paintHow to make your makeup last longer? for foundation/blusher?
Hiya,

You can buy fixer sprays, they keep all of your make up on all day but are especially made for foundation and blusher. If you dont want to spend money then a bit of hairspray on your face works just as well but it might make you get spots...
Use a face primer under your makeup (i like bare escentuals prime time) and use translucent powder over it to ';seal'; it in. You may also need to swtich to a higher quality brand, they tend to be more pigmented.
buy an expensive brand at a department store instead of mayballine revlon etc, the department store brands may cost more but they really do last longer

thats nice shes wearing very minimal very light pink blusherWhats the best concealer and colour of blusher?
If you put it in your handbag that will conceal it from everybody!
concealer - BareMinerals

check color - Benefit's Dallas
it really depends on your skin tone, you could go into Boots and ask at the counter, they often will do tests for you. Avon is also good as they do recommendations based on skin tone and colour.
Laura Mercier - best concealer

Mac 'Foolish Me' - best blusher

All skin colourings.
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is made from natural ingredients and makes your skin look great!
It all depends on your skin tone. but personally the best concealer i have evr found comes with sheercover i love their foundation and their concealer covers absolutley evreything! as for blush, in the colder months i like a pink blush try covergirl.

What colour blusher makes you look older ?

im going drinking in birkenhead with older girls but i am only 16 i was just wonderin what woud make me look olderWhat colour blusher makes you look older ?
TannishWhat colour blusher makes you look older ?
to look older???? hm.. red.
blusher wont help, go for smoky eyes nude lips and a subtle pink blush, sexy and understated, also heels!
That would all depend on your skintone. It really isn't so much colors of the make up you wear that will make you look older, it is the way you apply it.
honestly you shouldn't be going drinking with your friends trying to act older.

but i would go with anything darker, light pinks make you look young. don't try to dress TOO sexy or people are going to know your trying too hard, be classy, older girls are USUALLY classy more than trashy.

goodluck!

What blusher is good for sensitive skin which is acneprone....?

i want to go to body shop do they have a good one...What blusher is good for sensitive skin which is acneprone....?
They have.

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/cat鈥?/a>What blusher is good for sensitive skin which is acneprone....?
Get a MINERAL blusher - any brand, but make sure it's more than 95% minerals. 100% if you can get it. Mineral make up has only really just gone mainstream but has long been used in the beauty industry because of how kind it is to skin.
try a bare minerals blush... or any powdered mineral blush. Just make sure that you clean the brush that you use at least once a week to keep off bacteria. You can buy a spray that cleans your brushes at sephora.com for a pretty reasonable price.
Clinique products are very good for sensitive skin

Could I wear a soft tulle birdcage blusher with a cathedral veil for my wedding?

Do they work together or too much? I love the look of both and will eventually take off the long veil at the reception. Could I wear the long veil with the blusher in the picture?Could I wear a soft tulle birdcage blusher with a cathedral veil for my wedding?
Honestly, they really will not work together. I love them both as well to be honest.

Here's what I am doing, in case it helps you decide:

1) cathedral veil with traditional blusher (one piece, blusher lifted over head for kiss, etc) during the ceremony and the pictures.

2) birdcage veil for the reception since you cannot wear a cathedral veil while dancing anyway, it'll be a fu change and in the ';party'; photos.

Good luck with the wedding!Could I wear a soft tulle birdcage blusher with a cathedral veil for my wedding?
I think it would be too much.... and unless you're having them custom made it's possible they won't match well together (different materials, colors, etc.)

That doesn't mean you can't do both, just do them at different times. Use the cathedral veil for the ceremony and the birdcage veil for cocktail hour/dinner/even dancing if you want to keep it on.
No, sorry but the birdcage blusher would not work with the cathedral veil...you'd look like you couldn't decide, chose both and it'd just be too much! Either have a 2 tier cathedral OR the birdcage...though birdcage's really only work with a vintage theme/dress.
i dont think it's too much, if you like it, go for it.

You only get one wedding.

  • I have OILY skin is it good to use creamy blusher or powder?

which one would last long?I have OILY skin is it good to use creamy blusher or powder?
I'm not sure if this works, but you can try:

My friend has oily skin so what she does (or, so she told me)

is that she puts some baby powder on her face and that keeps it from being shiny; i guess it kind of soaks up the oil?

    Doesn't hurt to try.

But uh, on your question, i think powder would be better.I have OILY skin is it good to use creamy blusher or powder?
Always use a powder blusher if you have oily skin! It helps to absorb oil on the skin, and will last much longer. Creme blush will make your skin oiler, and could clog your pores, even if it says it's oil free. Spend a little more money on the blush too, especially if your skin is oiler; the blush will have a higher concentration of pigment and the color will stay truer (not turn orangey) and will hold its integrity longer. Also, consider using a makeup primer first on your skin; not a foundation, especially in the summer months, such as smashbox's antishine. Good luck!
you can use both at the same time, creamy first. but the powder is better cuz it soaks up the excess oils on your face. and keeps the shine down.
Do not use creamy products because they melt on you. My skin is very oily and I have the same problem with creamy products. If you are looking for foundation, use Reflection by Origins. If you are looking for blush, look into Origins powder blushes. These are great products for very oily skins-
I also have oily skin. I use powder blush because not only does it reinforce my foundation, but it also doesn't melt off like cream blush does. You might want to use a face primer (over your moisturizer, but under your foundation). Primer really helps my makeup stay on at least 4 hours longer than usual. You can go to http://www.sephora.com they offer a wide variety of foundation primers. Or you can get an all in one primer and foundation like: Maybelline Superstay Silky Foundation. Good luck!!
Powder definately!! It soaks up the oil and stays on much longer and doesnt clog pores as much as the cream does. The cream blush is for people with dehydrated skin
definately powder...it'll make your face more dry...and look better....but creamy blusher lasts longer...good luck : )
since ur skin is oily, use powder blusher. this will absorb the exess oil making ur cheeks look natural and less oily. this should b the case with eye-shadow as well. but for foundation u can use liquid oil-free types if u dont like powder foundation like me.
first, start with a product that reduces the natural oils in your face. i prefer smashbox's anti shine serum

    http://www.smashbox.com/index.cfm/fuseac鈥?/a>

use an astringent as well that also reduces oils and tones skine. but, i would use a powder blush. creams tend to be acne prone
I have super oily skin as well. As much as I want to wear cream blush, I hear that it comes off easily on oily skin. I would get a good quality powder blush.

What bronze, blusher and highlighter works?

Hi, im rubbish at knowing where to apply make up for my face shape and also what colours and tones would suit me. Its for contouring my face, creating cheekbones etc. This is a pic of me:

    http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/tt331鈥?/a>

And good product recommendations are welcome! What bronze, blusher and highlighter works?
    Hi there girlie!

I'm a makeup artist and I used to work with MAC. For now, I'm an independent Makeup Artist.

I must say that you are absolutely gorgeous! You have the perfect shape for contouring cheeks, nose, forehead! :o)

Well, it depends on how much money you are willing to spend for a contouring bronzer/blush.

Since you already have high cheekbones, contouring will not be a problem for you!

I recommend you try out MAC's bronzing powder. It does nothing but contour and keep your cheeks looking radiant and glowing.

Or try out Mineralize SkinFinish Natural powder.

If you would like to buy one at a drugstore, you can opt for a blush that has a bit of a light brown and pink undertone to it. There are many to choose from, so choose whichever you feel is beautiful!

The way contouring works is to create higher cheeks and sculpted features. This enhances your natural features a bit more.

for contouring your cheeks take your index finger and place it on your cheek. Now, slide it up to your hairline. This will be your guide on where to place the brush and blend. Dab your brush in the product and gently sweep from cheek to hairline. Blend this well, for a flawless perfect finish.

As for highlighting, try to see if you can get a pearly undertoned highlighter, like a shimmery peach or pink. I always recommend Physician's Formula ';Vegas Strip'; - it's a custom bronzer/highlighter/eyeshadow in one. It's perfect, esp. for this summer. It will also definitely compliment your hair!

Apply highlighter on the bridge of your nose, above your cheeks, and forehead. Blend this well.

hope this helps hun! good luck! I'm sure you'll look wonderful! What bronze, blusher and highlighter works?

What blusher should i wear with my new blonde hair its bit goldish too and i have medium skin colour?

Go to a makeup counter and ask them to colour match you, you cant go wrong then!

^^)What blusher should i wear with my new blonde hair its bit goldish too and i have medium skin colour?
I really can't say since it really depends on your skin tone and hair tone and that's difficult to imagine from a simple description. You should go to a mall and talk to a make-up consultant. You don't necessarily have to buy the product they show you either -- you can try different companies.

    How to apply foundation/blusher?

I normally just rub in the foundation and I don't usually wear blusher, as I don't know how to apply it with confidence! I want the look like the models in magazines have it! But not overly fake tbh.

    Thanks xHow to apply foundation/blusher?
i think foundation application has already been covered for you (see above answers)

but for blush, what i do is:

    1. get a good tone of blush

    2. get a good quality brush

    3. smile

    4. dust lightly onto the apples of your cheek, which are made visible by smiling

    5. never apply in the hollows of your cheek (if you follow step 3, you won't)

    6. and never make an actual shape (always BLEND) or you'll look like those dolls and disney princesses with big red circles on there cheeks to show how pretty and rosy they are

hope i helped. :)How to apply foundation/blusher?
    FOUNDATION

    1. apply a moisturizer (w/ a good SPF when going out in the sun)

    2. using a cosmetic sponge, if you're using liquid, w/ the tip, dot you're forehead, cheeks, chin and nose, and then blend away by following

the peach fuzz on you're face.

    BLUSH

-smile and apply on the apples of you're cheek
foundation is something you just have to kinda figure out what method works for you, Some people use brushes, others use fancy blender sponges. I personally just use my fingers.

Brush can be more difficult. You need to apply it based on your facial shape.

Dont ever think you can look like the models in magazines (although I am sure you are pretty). Half of their makeup isnt even real makeup its drawn on when they do the air brushing process.

    good luck
make sure to use a really good moustrizer

and then ur liquid foundation but apply it to a wet sponge, then apply to ur face

    thats what i do

    and it works WONDERS!
    o simple

make sure the cream is of gud quality

just take out some foundation cream and apply smoothly on ur cheeks

    blusher

    take it out and apply
the best thing to do is ';youtube';..u will get great tips..trust me...

What colour eyeshadow /blusher for olive skin?

I have brown eyes and and tanned complexion (olive skin) so i get stuck knowing what colour of eyeshadow and face blusher to use? Any suggestions? What colour eyeshadow /blusher for olive skin?
browns, golds and dark pinks (use very little)What colour eyeshadow /blusher for olive skin?
    coppers, orangey hues..
I am in the same boat you are - gold eyeshadow!!!! urban decay is a great brand and can be found at sephora. dust the gold eyeshadow over your lid and then put some medium brown on the crease of your eye. this color will really make your brown eyes pop out! a dark navy eye liner also looks great and will bring out the whites of your eyes.

as for the face blusher - choose a blush that matches your natural color when you blush. smaskbox makes a product called o-glow that reacts with your skin chemistry to actually turn your cheeks the perfect color. its brand new and AWESOME!
with your coloring youneed to stick to the neutral colors, Brown, tan, beige, rust, even greens and yellows, anything like that.

Stay away from pink or blue.
gold and green eyeshadow i promise you will be GORGEOUS!!! wear a nice peacock bright green on ure eyelid, and apply a soft gold eyeshadow on the surrounding parts, and under ure bottom eyelashes . blusher: best will be a darker red/brown colour. im so jealous u have olive skin, it always goes perfectly with green eyshadow. u can go for the bright, bold colours like peacock green and blue, gold, and purple are all good. but stay away from pastel colours, light colours and no pink! hope that helps! :)
You can look at pics of Jennifer Lopez. I have the same complexion and eyes as her so I always look up to her. I personally think you can pull off light colors cuz the light colors will focus on your eyes which is a good thing!!
Try some Greens or Browns. they will really bring out how pretty your eyes are.

What colour blusher suits medium skin tone? advice on a good blusher make?

nars blush in orgasm. it's a universally flattering shade for any skin colour, which is why it's so popular. also, if you're still unsure, you should check out this website

www.makeupalley.com it's a site where you can check out reviews on virtually every cosmetic product on the market used by everyday people. if you click on product reviews, you can search for the type of blush you are interested in and see what others have to say about it. they also give ratings for the product, which is very good if you want to know the best type of cosmetic for you and the best deals as well.

when applying, apply foundation, eye color %26amp; lipstick first. while blush is usually your 2nd-to-last makeup step (before powder), you should experiment with what works best for you. some makeup artists like to apply blush BEFORE foundation for a more 'natural' look.

throw out the freebie blush brush that comes with the blush if you get one. use a professional full brush instead (i like mac's blush brush no. 116), but don't use the same brush you use for your powder.

put the blush on your brush, tapping off any excess or put a dab of gel on your fingers. look into the mirror and smile. this helps you figure out where the 'apple' of your cheek is.

since you want a healthy flush, it's best to apply blush only to apples of your cheeks. keep color light and blended. if you're using gel or cream, dab it on with your middle finger, then blend with your ring and middle finger. the clean finger will pick up any excess blush.

if you've gone a bit too heavy on the powder blush, a bit of translucent powder over it will calm it down. for cream blush, blot the color off with a tissue. since gel and liquid blush 'stain' the cheeks, the only way to lighten them is it wash your face, moisturize and reapply your makeup, this time more sparingly.

then finish your look with a sweep of translucent powder and your done!

    hope this helps

xWhat colour blusher suits medium skin tone? advice on a good blusher make?
For medium skin tones, I suggest using a peachy/coral toned blush. I recommend using a blush by NARS called Orgasm. The orgasm shade is so universal, it compliments any skin tone and it gives your cheeks a nice flush of color that looks natural. Remember, when you apply blush dont have a heavy hand...slowly build up the color to your desire. You can find NARS orgasm blush in any Sephora store or you can purchase it on the Sephora website (www.sephora.com) for $25.00. It may seem like a lot of money but the blush will last a long time because a little bit of the product goes a long way.

Yes of course. Sometime expensive products are a load of crap sometimes they are good - the same goes for cheap products. its all about trial and error.Do you think buying a blusher from the market, is as good as an expensive one?
A few things to remember about inexpensive cosmetics is that they usually have more ';fillers'; in them, they may not stay on as long, and the companies are more likely to test on animals. Double Blusher question.. Why do you think that wearing blush is/was considered attractive and..?

Do you think that wearing it has gone out of fashion? Guys welcome to answer too..Double Blusher question.. Why do you think that wearing blush is/was considered attractive and..?
It will never go out of style...

Blushing your cheeks makes you look like you glow when you smile(If your colors right, that is), and it just over all compliments your face.

I look dead without it, and it jsut makes your face look paler, and less sculpted sanz blush.

=)Double Blusher question.. Why do you think that wearing blush is/was considered attractive and..?
properly applied blush shouldn't be noticeable as make-up ... might be why you haven't noticed it :) Report Abuse

at one point, only prostitutes wore it ... through another genre, properly applied blush gives the ';glow'; of walking in from a fresh winter day ... it supposedly gave the impression of good health ... most recently the goal is a combination of natural shadows and a healthy glow to make the face look thinner and/or give that healthy glow (accentuating high cheek bones and the like is considered beauty in some circles) ... to my knowledge it has not gone out of fashion ... there was a period where ';obvious'; presence of blush was common (the 80's) but it was never really ';good fashion'; when it was that obvious ... just kinda gaudy ... I think the whole ';obviously a lot of make-up'; look was never ';in'; and is often considered trashy ...

just the right amount in the right color and applied to the right areas, though, can ';brighten'; the face and make you seem healthy and lively ...
I think it highlighted the cheek bones, for those that don't have them very defined, it can add a little something to their face. I have very prominent cheek bones, so I have never worn blush. I think blush has its place and will never go out of style or be unattractive if done correctly.

  • Is blusher for your cheeks bad for your skin?

yeah cause i use a lot pink one is it bad for your skin?Is blusher for your cheeks bad for your skin?
Ideally, you should not put any form of makeup on your skin. They contain chemicals and clog your pores; some, like eyeliner, may cause wrinkle formation.

But that depends on the long-term price you are willing to pay for beauty.

I would suggest letting your face breathe 1-2 days a week by not putting on any makeup. It will really show in the long run.Is blusher for your cheeks bad for your skin?
If you wash your face regularly, it's fine.
No, not as long as you buy a namebrand blush.
Any make up ca be bad for you, we have pores in our skin that need to breathe, when u cover it up it cannot breathe and can become blocked hence zits and stuff like that, blackheads, whiteheads.
just like other face makeup, if you put it on all the time, yeah it is.

Personally not a fan of blusher on brown skin, find it looks unnatural but i saw alexandra from the xfactor wearing sweet william by mac and it looked quite good so would suggest this. Its a cream blusher which looks more natural than a powder.

    Good Luck.
if your skin is very dark that a purple/pink goes very well with this skin tone and it you could use a bronzer

Whats the best way of removing blusher that's been trodden into the carpet?

I have found that using a baking soda and water paste first helps to loosen a stain. Then, try a carpet cleaner spray such as Resolve. Scrub it with a nylon bristle brush while the cleaner is still wet. Then repeat until it's gone. Good luck!

How Do You Apply Bronzer With Blusher & Highlighter?

Any links or just explained :D

    10 points best answer :D

    Thank you for answering X

How Do You Apply Bronzer With Blusher %26amp; Highlighter?
The best way to apply blusher is to get a blusher brush, dust it over the powder and blow on the brush to get rid of any excess. Smile broadly and apply the blusher to the apples of your cheeks (the fullest part when you're smiling).

Bronzer is used (very lightly, if you are using blusher) anywhere that your face catches the sun, usually the t-zone.

Highlighter works in the same way, on your cheekbones etc but I would avoid using all 3 products or you will look like a clown.

Less is more when it comes to these types of products. How Do You Apply Bronzer With Blusher %26amp; Highlighter?
    1) Apply your base coat of liquid foundation or a tinted moisturiser first.

    2) Then dust on your bronzer powder with a large soft make-up brush always blowing off the excess powder particles before applying in a light circular motion around the face, neck and chest

(this will give an even colour and look natural, because you don't want an orange face and pale neck).

    3) If using a liquid based highlighter cream, squirt some out onto top of your hand (so you can use it as a palette) dab with your finger so you have a little bit of the highlighter on the tip of your finger and then pat lightly onto the cheek bone area, repeat a few times to build up. A top tip is to suck in your cheeks so you can see where to put it, and always start from the apples of your cheeks and work up towards your cheek bones

......You can also use some highlighter just underneath your eyebrows to add definition to the face, and also in the corners of your eyes to brighten them up .

(Don't use too much, you don't want to look like an over-done Prom Queen)

    4) Now its time to add your finishing touches. It is at this point that you can now start to apply other products like blusher, eye make-up and lip products. To add blusher over a bronzed complection choose a warm peach, try to avoid pink blushers unless you are going for a red lip colour. The best blushers are mostly powder blushers, and the best tool is to invest in a blusher make-up brush which has a soft rounded edge. Just apply a little sweep of blusher to the apples of your cheeks and depending on the shape of your face, you could possible extend the sweep of blusher higher up towards the cheek bones.

N.B If this process is too long, and you haven't got time, invest in a blusher that is illuminating and has a built-in highlighter.

    5) If you don't feel Bronze enough, you can always powder over your finished look with a matt finish bronzer...the highlighted cheeks will still shimmer through depending on how many layers you have dabbed on.

All in all, the quick explanation is

---foundation base, bronzer, highlighter, blush and then possibly bronzer again.

Hope this helps, its most basic rules of application explained, you can't go wrong once you know how :-)
Well pressed powder goes all over your face then you apply bronzer to your forehead, chin, down your nose and all around your face but not over your eyes or cheeks.

Now pout (like fish lips) so you get dimples on your cheeks then apply blush to the bits above the dimples. After that you take highlighter and put it in the dimples and under your eyes.

That's you ready to start on your eye make-up if you're putting any on.

    Hope I helped!
The blush I use is %26gt; L'oreal Glam Bronze Blonde Harmony (also comes in Brunette Harmony)

It comes with a brush (and mirror :P) alternatively, use a blusher brush. I only apply it over my cheek bones to give them a glow, but you can highlight any areas - nose and forehead particularly.

    Just experiment :D

I use Shimmering sands trueblend mineral blush from Covergirl.(Just looked in my makeup bag. :P) It works for me because I have very fair skin. I don't know what would work for you, but it's a very pretty shade.

Here's their site. You can get colormatched too, so you can get the right shade of blush for you.

Try a bronzer...they give you a healthy, realistic glow and depending on how strong you want the look to be, you can just apply more or less to your brush. The great thing is that you can get a decent bronzer at your local drug store for a reasonable price. Of course, if you live near a Sephora, you can go and play with all the fun stuff they have for free before deciding on which one to buy!
Bourjois does some nice ones, I think Sienna is a good one.
    SMASHBOX do great blushers!!
I'm in love with this stuff - http://www.maybellinenewyork.ca/caeng/products/face/l29l51l67l2231l2233.htm

The mousse effect feels so airy and pretty on your cheeks. I think if you go to a certain part of the website there's this quiz thing that will give you a color that's best for your complexion.
I love No7 blush in honey from boots, looks like a peachy bronzer mix.
L'oreal paris the neutral pink is very flattering.

But it really depends on your skin colour the one above is better on lighter skin if you have darker skin try a goldish colour.

    Boots 'Benifit' is very good.
Use some bronzing pearls quite softly as you would blusher, it gives a little kinda glow and a bit of a tint x
Hi if you dont want to go for Blusher as I know how hard it is to get the right colour, then why not try Illuminating face pearls from avon, there not bronzers so dont make you look orange lol, but they have luminous colour to them and you can just use them on your cheeks to give a natural glow, thats not pinky but like a light see throught pinky, dewy heathly look. Or you can use them to highlight your features your for head and chin, but I prefer to use mine to give me a little colour as I am pale and find most blushers and bronzers are too intense even the sheer look blushers are too dark

Dont be decieved if you notice some funny colour balls as well as the pink and white ones in the pot of face pearls, as these just all blend together and as there are more light ones you get a better result than all one colour, Its best to use a brush so you can dust over the pearls and then sweep on where you want it to go.

When do you use blusher and when do you use bronzer? Does anyone know any real good ones : )?

I actually like putting on blush first then

I apply the bronzer on top and sometimes

underneath my cheekbones to highlight and

emphasize them. I love MAC's blush and

the body shop's bronzer(the ones that look

like pearls in a jar)When do you use blusher and when do you use bronzer? Does anyone know any real good ones : )?
You can use a bronzer whenever you feel you need the extra ''glow''. I have been working on getting a summer tan, but my face is always lighter than the rest of my body, so I use a bronzer on a daily basis, along with a blush.

I apply my concealer, foundation, bronzer all over my face, blush on my cheekbones, and then I do my eye-makeup.

I use Rose Silk blush from Covergirl, I believe. For a bronzer, I like Rimmel's bronzers... they are a good price, and nice color. When do you use blusher and when do you use bronzer? Does anyone know any real good ones : )?

i use clarins puffball in *very pale pink* and its got tiny sparkly bits in it, very pretty. You dont want super red cheeks so this is perfect as you can start off lightly and build it up so u have a natural pinky glow, with a touch of sparkle! What is the best blusher for a redhead
A nice pinkish shade is best because if you use a bronzish or orange tone it will just make your skin look strange against your hair colour. A nice blush is Benefits ';Bene-Tint'; which is actually a cheek and lip stain which is very easy to apply. You dab a few spots on the apples of your cheeks and carefully blend in with your fingers, it's very subtle and chic looking and if you would like a more reddish colour you can just apply more. Benefit also have a powdered blush called ';Dandelion'; which is a light pink shimmery shade and it looks really pretty on top of the tint.
I pink, rosy blusher. I recommend Bourjous No.33 LILAS D'OR, it would go perfectly with your hair colour and complexion, give you that china doll effect. I would use the brush in it though as it makes it seem like it doesn't come out. And on the + side it smells lucious x
i would say a light bronze colour, it could enhance the colouring in your hair.
a light pink but apply only a light layer of blush
    bronzer!

    try mac bronzing in GOLDEN
    baige
Id say a very light pink, like a china doll effect.

What color eyeshadow and blusher should you wear with a red top.?

I am going to a wedding soon and i am having trouble with what kind of makeup i should apply. I will be wearing a vibrant red top and black trousers. Any help would be appreciatedWhat color eyeshadow and blusher should you wear with a red top.?
it's better to wear make up that brings out your complexion and emphasizes your features rather than matching make-up to your clothing. Wear eyeshadow that's a contrasting colour to your eyes to make them stand out and wear a blush that will accent your cheek bones and make your face seem brighter based on your skintone. What color eyeshadow and blusher should you wear with a red top.?
this will help you out with makeup tips and skincare
brown eyeshadow and emerald pearl(the darkest light shade !)blush!
Wear some nude/neutral tones that are suited for your skin color. Please don't match your makeup with your outfit.
If i were you i use a violet mixed iwth a little pink so it looks alittle red but is not red
I'd go with either light or medium..hell..or heavy smoky black look...or the pale/neutral look...mixing it with red or another color than black or brown..hm..im not sure
try smokey eye in black cause it looks sexy with a red top
Red eye-shadow and your color skin blush .

  • Can you take eyeliner and blusher on a plane?

as long as its not liquidCan you take eyeliner and blusher on a plane?
If its not liquid then that's fine. But if it is liquid it has to be in a container and be 3 oz. or less. It its more they will throw it out, I was behind one woman who had about $50 worth of makeup thrown out because it was too much, and it didn't meet the 3 oz. requirement. But regardless of whether you bring liquid or not, make sure its in a plastic bag all together because they may want to see it anyway. Can you take eyeliner and blusher on a plane?
    I don't see why not...
yes, they will let you as ng as it is not liquid.
yes but it cant be liquid and sometimes if it is liquid it has to be 3oz or less
I encourage you to check out the TSA website. I made sure I knew about what you could and couldn't bring before my flight. That way they won't throw it away or not let you board with it, unless it is in your checked luggage. You are pretty limited with a carry-on bag. I posted two links.

    :)
yes you can, aslong as they're not liquid eyeliner, or dream matte blusher or anyother liquid blusher.

also they have to be less than 100ml.

    How should you apply blusher?

This video helped me a lot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pq4kOsCDI鈥?/a>

Before that I was clueless! The video is a bit longer but it's really helpful. She explains it very well.

Hope I helped (:How should you apply blusher?
well there are two ways you can go about it, and i would start by looking at your face shape. would you like to see your cheeks look a little more defined? if thats what you want, start at the middle of the apple, and pulling the brush back at an angle, go out towards the temple. this gives the illusion of a really defined cheekbone. if youre really thin and would like more 'volume' to the cheeks, then concentrate on the round part of the cheek (aka the apple). what i typically do because i dont have defined cheekbones, is put a little pink or peachy blush on the apples, then, underneath the cheekbone, apply bronzer or a darker powder on an angle and blend it out
firstly you have to pick the right colour - if your pale skinned then you should opt for a more pink peach tone, but if your darker skinned you should go for brown tones.

then get a blusher blush, get a decent about of blush on the brush, smile and dust the brush over the apples of your cheeks (which is why you are smiling - so you can clearly see the apples of your cheeks)

remember less is always more - so don't wear too much.

    i hope this helped. (:
Get a blusher that matches your skin tone, get some on the brush blow of the excess and lightly apply it to the apples of your cheeks. Make sure you don't end up with dark pink streaks like some girls do!
with a blusher brush, in the middle of your cheeks, both sides then even out the color.
start at the apple of your cheeks , an swoop up and blend into your cheekbones up to your temples .

Good luck! xxIs this k to wear dream matte mousse foundation and blusher when working out?
it's fine. i go gym when ive already applied make-up. hopefully you'll work out so much you'll sweat it off. but don't wear it especially to the gym
just dont wear make up. then after work out take a shower than put on make up
I wouldn't try it. I think the foundation may block your pours while sweating and leave you open to acne outbreak. I would just stick to mascara and lip gloss/lipstick.
it sure is OK, just clean your skin thoroughly when you return home
Wearing that brand will probably be your best bet to wear while working out because it's very simple to apply, it's quick, effortless, waterproof, and all of that wonderful stuff.

    I'd go check out Maybelline.com
I would skip the make up to work out.Put it on after you wash up and you will look alot better.

How do u apply foundation, blusher & eye makeup so it looks gorgeous?

Be very careful with the foundation. Most people do not need a thick coating, which can make you look orange and over-done. I suggest a tinted moisturizer instead. Only apply it to the areas where it is needed--the most common mistake is applying foundation all over your face. Also, make sure it is applied with a make-up sponge. Touching your face is a very bad idea, as you are just spreading acne-causing bacteria. How do u apply foundation, blusher %26amp; eye makeup so it looks gorgeous?
well if your like me and you have redness on your face then id start by useing a foundation with good coverage. start by doting the foundation on you cheeks chin nose and forehead and blend well, set the foundation with a little powder. for cheeks smile and apply the blush to the part of your cheek that sticks out and apply highlighter on the tops of the cheeks. for eye makeup use a soft light colour all over the lid and apply eyeliner to your lash line and in the rim of your eyes then apply to coats of black mascara. hope this helpsHow do u apply foundation, blusher %26amp; eye makeup so it looks gorgeous?
don't leave streaks... BLEND BLEND BLEND....

blush:smile and brush your blush in circular motions _the apple part of your cheeks) towards your cheek bone...make sure its blended...dont leave streaks...

eye makeup: use light color for eyelid... a darker color on top of lid (not too dark) then on sides of eyes a darker eye shadow...

    Blend Blend Blend
if your skin is clear or you have vry few blemishes then i would recommend a light moisture foundation they have som great ones from mac. If you skin is a little spotty then you might need something stronger but i wouldnt go for a thich foundation because then it can appear odvious that you ar wearing foundation and natural is the key. If you put a little concealer on urunder eyes on the creases on any blemishes or spots and thn using a makeup brush or a sponge blend in your skin aftr putting foundation on. If you want to look more bronzed i would rcommend gettin a bronzer instead of a darker foundation. And then use the bronzer on the face lgithly to give that glowing look. Highlightrs n the cheekbones and above eye lids can create a glowing look too. Blusher shoudl be applied on the apples of your cheeks if you suck in your cheeks there shoudl also be a line visible that you can brush the blusher on towards your ear. I wouldnt over do blusher either jus enough to look like you have some clolour. And eyes ree depend on ur shape of eyes and your eye colour.. i use brown tones mainly because i like natural colours ... if you use a lighter colour on the insides of ur eye lid and then blend a little to make it darker in the sides that usually works for me.. hope i helped :) xx
i have got cream and powder foundation i apply cream foundation and after that i apply powder foundation to make it smooth

after that i do eye makeup. to do this first i apply light shade as highlight with a soft brush of about 1 inch. than i apply medium shade darker than before with thin brush than before.than to apply on lid of my eye i use a very-2 thin brush and a dark color

at last apply eyeliner and kajal, and sometimes i apply shimmer also

after eye makeup i apply rose. after that i apply lip liner and then lipstick after lipstick i apply gloss and my makeover is completed.

    good luck!!!
use a brush like the pros and blend
I used Bare Escentuals for my wedding - and it was great!!!:)
Use foundation only in places where it is most needed, e.g places wer ther is mosat shine or uneven skin tone...do not forget to blend as this is vital. When applying blusher smile and apply on the apple of your cheeks and up and outwards. Then the eye make up, this usually dpends on what colours you use but really the way to use eyeshadow is to first apply the lightest colour all over your lids up to the eyebrows, then the mid tone colour blended in the crease of the first half of the eye (inner corner to half way) and then the darkest from the outer corner to midway.

I think that it depends a lot on what you are looking for in a blusher when selecting a favorite. I've tried just about everything though, and I would say in terms of longevity, wear, texture, color, and application that Tarte's gel cheekstain is the best ever. It comes in at least six shades, lasts forever, and just has the best texture. It is easy to apply, doesn't set up too fast (as in no mistakes), and it glides on your skin beautifully, leaving a really nice finish. One little fat stick of Tarte will last you months. It is a truly great beauty product.

thanksWhy is it everytime i use blusher it turns orange instead of pink?
Hun, most probably your blush turns out orange because your skin is oily. Buy pink blushes that do NOT have brown undertones in them. Buy pink blushes that have mauve undertones in them. I have the same problem, my skin is oily and whenever I use brownish shades they turn oranges after a while. As for foundation, I would use clinique or biotherm, they have excellent products. I hope I helped! Why is it everytime i use blusher it turns orange instead of pink?
yes, its bcoz of the freakles...

cover up the freakles using a good coverstick, n then use a pink blusher..
If u have tried everything, then I'd suggest u to try Bobbi Brown's blush.(Pale Pink) The color is natural and it's pink undertone, looks like the color grows from under the skin.Trust me on this one,I'm a beauty consultant of Bobbi Brown in Hong Kong.
Its not your freckles, your freckles are beautiful, there is no reason to try and cover them up they only add to your appeal.

Are you using base makeup? It sounds like the blush is blending into the tone of your base. It may not be a blush issue in that case. Try letting your base dry completely before applying the blush, or even look for a slightly lighter base color or one that neutralizes warm tones. You want to make sure your color tones match up. Even if you are using baby pink blush too much of a warm base color will tint it.
The blush you are using probably has an orange undertone. Try going for the really bright pinks, if you put them on lightly, they look really nicely. You might also want to buy a quality blush at a department store or a store like sephora not one at a drugstore... that way you can try before you buy

Do I use to much makeup. I use dream matte mousse foundation (nude), blusher, maybelline pure powder?

No that's the good, as long as you're not putting too much of everything. You should have a light sheer coverage and it should feel like you don't have any make up on. what I like to do after I put on my foundation is to blot it with a tissue so wipe off all the excess and so that it wont be on my clothing later. I end up having a sheer and natural look.Do I use to much makeup. I use dream matte mousse foundation (nude), blusher, maybelline pure powder?
it depends on what it looks like, if you can pull it off without looking like you caked it on more power to you....Do I use to much makeup. I use dream matte mousse foundation (nude), blusher, maybelline pure powder?
No, i think that's good, but it depends how much you put on.
Nah its fine provided that you dont over do it with perfume.

Spray the air and walk into the mist. Please dont smell like you wore half the bottle! thanks!
Just dont over do it with the foundation and blush. Otherwise it sounds perfectly reasonable.
    Nope.
no thats fine, and i use the dream matte mousse it works wonders
    I don't think so!

maybelline collosal mascara is really really really really good its only 拢6.00 at superdrug.

i dunno bout blusher but i use rimmel cream blush and its very good it stays on and it has good shades although its quite small and i dont think they make them anymore but jus look for a cream blush ther the best they stay on 4 longer. and they are quite cheap cos not many ppl wer it

    :]
best mascara, bar none : lash blast by covergirl

    it works FANTASTIC

for blush, my best recommendation would be any blush product by neutrogena. neutrogena is the only brand of makeup that i use on my face because it doesn't leave my skin oily or shiny.
Covergirl Lash Blast in Waterproof. (only if you want dramatic effects). I'd also suggest Lash Stiletto or Voluminous.

Dream Matte Mousse blush is awesome. Although the foundation is awful, the blush is amazing. :)

Whats the best blusher that gives you cheekbones and doesnt look powdery but shimmers?

and how to apply.....on round face to make it slimmerWhats the best blusher that gives you cheekbones and doesnt look powdery but shimmers?
you want killer cheek bones you need?

Silvery powder use this from your brow to the top of the cheek bone you want to draw a tick then use a liquid bronzer at the top of your cheek bones then use a rosy toned blush on the apples of your cheeksWhats the best blusher that gives you cheekbones and doesnt look powdery but shimmers?
Clinique touch blush in petal cream. All make up artists use it - for a cheaper option Maybeline to a mouse blusher in a pretty petal pink colour too.
Bare Minerals/Escentuals (you can get at ULTA) has a few colors that I think will be exactly what you are looking for:

    Warm Radiance

    Pure Radiance

    Bare Radiance

    Tropical Radiance

I think they are about $18 each. They all have a bit of shimmer in them, last all day, and best of all, are great for your skin. They dont look powdery at all.

As far as putting blush on to slim a round face: Try sweeping the blush brush just under your cheekbone to just under your temple. Try not to make a ';sharp line';. It should give you a higher cheekbone look, and maybe elongate your face a little.

Note: with blush: a little goes a long way
i use MAC sheertone shimmers blusher. it gives dewy looking
Use 'twofaced' products they have one side in a matt colour and the other side is a shimmery lighter colour they gorgous i were mine evryday and ive had it like a yr now. when you aply it just sweep the brush over the top and apply it does it all at once.

    x
maybelline an one that suits ur skin tone,u dnt want to look like a drag queen! remember to apply to the apples of your cheeks an go no higher thn the bottom of ur eye cuz this just makes u look awful.
use a shimmery cream blush! there really great! just make a fishy pout with your face and apply to your cheeck bones. for better results use highlighter above cheeckbones! try this method of application:http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/produ…
Maybelline Mousse blusher is good as its easy to apply and looks shimmery without being to dark.
    Benefit one

    it gives you great cheekbones

if you go on there website you will find it

its half bronze and half shimmer

    but its lovely!

    and not to bronzery

i kno its blusher that you want.

    but thats fabb

    also.. if it is blusher

benifit do a high beem that you put on below you cheakbone before u apply blusher

    gives you a fresh glow!

its superstar in a bottle if u ask me:)

    xxxxxx
use a natural shade shiny eye shadow! (works very well) and highlight on your browbone, high on your cheeks, corner of eyes - sweeping slightly upwards good luck! its a very attractive look
maybelline matte mousse selection sell a cheek matte mousse

it isnt a powder so it will giv it a bit more shine
    sun shimmer
Take it from me I use natural collection stick and its a pinky pearly colour and its shimmery but doesnt look powdery at all because its a creme blush. Its small in a tube twist kind and its by natural collection or bascially any creme blush. Rimmel or any really. Just put a small amount on your finger and sweep it lightly across your cheeks downwards and smile while doing it because smiling at same time means it'll hit your cheek bones just right and you dont look like a clown. Dont over do it tho only a few sweeps. It perfect for that light shimmery look and i love it and get compliments on it alot. If you want to make it shimmer alot tho apply a shimmer bronzer on top of it as the creme blush is a base it'll stick to and it'll look sparkly and gorgeous thats what i do everyday and it glows. I use a body shop shimmer waves over my creme blush on my cheeks and it makes them shimmer all day and look bronzy too.

Just dont get confused with the bottle as the cheek stain looks like a bright red nail varnish bottle but believe me - try it and il promise youl be pleasently suprised.
I've just bought a new MAC one after previously using Smashbox and Stila and can definitely say that the MAC is the best.

    How to apply blusher correctly?

i just wanna know the right way to apply blusher on my check bones and what colour would suit best, i'm very pale skinned haha. How to apply blusher correctly?
Blush should match your natural undertones. Since you're very pale, I'm guessing that light pink would be the best shade for you. But light skinned people have a much easier time picking out blush, and there are many colors that work for them, so experiment and see what you like best.

The easiest way to apply blush is to smile and apply it to the chubby part of your cheeks. :) Dot it on to each cheek as you smile, and then blend it with a brush. You can get a blush brush for next to nothing at any drugstore. Also, don't put on too much -- you don't want to look like Miss Piggy. The idea is just to give you a light flushed look, and should not be at all obvious that you have it on.

Hope I helped. :)How to apply blusher correctly?
contour your cheeks with a darker blush/bronzer--suck in your cheeks OR move your lips so they are pointed towards the opposite cheek (sorry if that sounds weird, i have no other way of explaining it) to see your cheek bones better.

put the darker blush along your cheekbone, blending upwards, then apply a lighter blush on the apples of your cheeks which you can see when you smile.

if you want you can apply a highlighter on top of the apples of your cheeks, but that's optional.

and for colors, i would go with light colors--light pinks, light bronzers, something subtle. bright colors can work as well...and peach looks good on every skin tone.
Smile so you can see the 'apples' of your cheeks. Apply your blusher in a circular motion and stroke it towards your ears so it doesnt look like you have two circles of pink on your face. I also blow on my blusher brush to make sure I haven't got too much on it :)

Since you're pale, go for a pale pinkish peach colour so it wont look too much on your skin.

I find its easier this way :D
HI, an easy and fast way to apply blush is, first smile, and u will be able to c ur cheek bones, then apply ur blush going front to back, make sure u dont put a lot of blush on ur brush or also it will not look natural. then apply you powder on top as a finish touch. I think a peach pink ligth color will look good for ur tone skin. You can also check on yotube, below Ana Gold, she has some great tips on hoe to aplly makeup, i recommend. Good Lcuk
Suck your lips in so that you can see your cheekbone line really clearly. Then, brush it along the line and smudge it with your fingertips. Experiment with colours; you can always ask the lady in the shop for a recommendation but pinky colours often suit pale shades.
well throw away the little blush brush that comes in the blush compact and have a good blush brush and dip it in the blush and tap off the excess if needed and grin like a fool and apply it no past the end of your nose but not to close to the side of you nose or your eyes and apply the color to the apple of the cheek/cheekbone area and a cool rose or pink would look best on you
for pale skin, a brighter blush will suit you.

you should buy bubblegum blush from lime crime. it is very bright and looks yummy and will look great on your pale skin.

    good luck

and put it on one place, if you put it everywhere then i will look blocthy. use a brush and apply it using a round motion.
for you, go with a very pale, faint blusher, but clear enough so you can see it. to see where to add it, smile with your mouth closed, and apply to the balls that show
    watch this tutorial :]

Smile widely (mouth closed) and pat it on the cheeks with a big brush.

What is the diffrence between blush and blusher?

    Blush- to make red; flush

basically when your cheeks go red naturally mainly out of embaressment.

Blusher- Also called blush-on. a cosmetic similar to rouge, used to add color to the cheeks.

so when you apply red to your cheek but if some one is talking about makeup and then they say i used blush they mean blusher.

Hope I helped xWhat is the diffrence between blush and blusher?
Blush is when blood rushes to your cheeks, and blusher is a powder that you put on your cheeks to give the appearance of blushing.

But apart from that blush can be used as an abbreviation for blusher. What is the diffrence between blush and blusher?
Blush is the blush applied to enhance your cheek bone. Blusher is someone who is blushing naturally. Got it!
well blush is when you naturally blush and go pink and blusher is what you apply to your cheeks

How do you contour blusher and/or bronzer to make your face appear thinner?

I've heard you can use two tones (or more) on your cheeks to make your cheek bones stand out/look like you have cheek bones.

How is this done? What colours should be used? Does it work?

    Thanks

xxxHow do you contour blusher and/or bronzer to make your face appear thinner?
Be warned contouring if you do not do it right will look horrible and not even work.

Make sure you blend EVERYTHING well. If there are harsh lines it will look bad. No one should be able to tell you contoured.

step one : Start with a darker natte neutral blush or bronzer. Sweep the colour diagonally under the cheek bones back up towards the ear. Make sure its not to dark either. to make sure that it isn't to dark make it slightly darker than your blush and apply it darker from there.

step two : Put the blush on in a circular swirl right on the apples of the cheeks. If you don't want it to look to noticable only do a little bit of colour.

Step three : Finally take a highlighting powder which has a shine or shimmer to it, and dust it on the tops of your cheekbones back towards your hairline.

Darkening under your cheek bones will make the part of your face look more 'sunken' defining the cheekbones, and by highlighting ontop of the cheeks will 'push' this out more to make your cheeks more defined. It is all an illusion so you will have to practice to get the contouring right. When you first do it you may not think it works or looks horrible. Be patience and go slowly with a light hand.

It took me alot of time, and horrible results when I first started to contour.

Also the colours that are used should depend on your skin type. usually you would work with your normal blush colour that looks good on your skin. and the contouring bronzer/blush should be a nice brown. The shade depends on your skin tone as well, it'll need to be darker for dark skin and lighter for light skin. the hihglighting colour will just basically be the same for everyone since it is just shimmer.

hope this helps. How do you contour blusher and/or bronzer to make your face appear thinner?
Well, darker colours make your face appear smaller and light colours make your face appear larger. You would put a bronzer on your cheeks to make your cheek bones standout, but you don't want it too dark because it won't look right, so blend well!

It will work if done correctly.

Just put on dark colours wear you want smaller, less seen. And light colours wear you want it to standout more.
    Don't use too much is the main thing to remember. I would just go two fingers out from your nose and pull down from the top of your cheek bone...stick to one color so you don't look ';over done';

Try rubbing with Make up remover wipes or baby wipes. How can I remove blusher stain from a carpet?
Any good carpet cleaner will work but try dabbing the stain with clean tissues to bring up the excess rather than scrubbing at first because that will push it further into the carpet. Keep doing this until the stain is mostly gone and then scrub. You could also try makeup remover with the same technique then let it dry and hoover it vigorously when you have finished. Good luck.

Try using kyri and kimi products. They have a really good website with skin care and cosmetics made with natural ingredients. Most of their products are made for people with skin problems and have essential oils in them to help with your problem. The website is really informative. I recommend bronze eyeshadow which i use as a bronzer on my face and body. I am planning to go for some shades of blushers. which brand should i go for?

    Hello!

L'Oreal Paris is my favourite (in a small pink square box). It is not too expensive, it has a small mirror in its lid and a nice brush that helps to apply it. I gues it has Vitamin C in it as well. I'm very satisfied with it and using the third year already :)I am planning to go for some shades of blushers. which brand should i go for?
I think Garnier is good.I am planning to go for some shades of blushers. which brand should i go for?
a plastic bag usually does the trick
If u r light skinned u can use shades of beige, tan or brown or maybe peach. If u r dark skinned then u can try shades of pink. I THINK LOREAL IS THE BEST.
Bare Escentuals is a great product. They have a lot to choose from and the ingredients are all natural and not animal tested. Very soft and gentle on the skin. Very natural looking as well.
LAKME is the best for Indian skin tones.
Well Aditi u must go for L'oreal Paris or u can go for Lakme
M.A.C. lasts the longest and has a great selection of shades.

Two Faced make-up has great blush called ';Flushed blush'; it's a combo of a Mat blusher on one side and next to it one with a sparkle... I personaly use this one and it's great for every day!

Body Shop has a blusher in Pearls which is good to use with a big brush for all over your face to give it a bit of colour.

Wet %26amp; Wild just came out with new cheap blushes that seem to work.

Last but not least... Try Sephora brands, they're good!
Lo'real is the best it has a nice pink shade in a square box. that's my favourite.

Lakme is also good if u dont like Lo'real
well,it actually depends on what country u live in,but loreal/maybelline/mac should be best.ask ur frinds etc about what they use, they live in the same place u live in and know which brands are of the best quality there, bcos many brands make different stuff for different places.i use loreal paris
Well, theres not always a best brand. I think that it depends on your skin and the color you like. I just bought a blush/brightner/bronzer all in one and it works VERY well. It's by Milani and it's called ';Honey Kissed.'; I got it in CVS for about $6. Try it out!
depending on what kind of skin tone you have.

i have fair skin. i use and covergirl blushes.

i dust a darker pink shade and then a bronzing peachy shade over that.

pink is called-#145 RCK N ROSE

peach is called-#240 (but i can't remember the name)

    they look like these:::

    http://www.buymebeauty.com/images/cg/cg_cheekers-blush_full.jpg

    http://www.walgreens.com/dbimagecache/283153.jpg
I think blush is probably one of the only types of makeup that you can wear in any brand. Rather than shopping for a brand, shop for a blusher in the colour you like most. My favourite blusher cost me about $5 and is a no-name brand

People who know about MAC eye shadows or blushers, please answer my question?

i dont know the exact colors, but i can tell you she used a light tan color on the actual eyelid followed by a THIN darker light brown color for the crease and blended it with a lighter white under eyebrow, to get the look, dont apply anything thick, one stroke with not a lot of color on the applier

What is a suitable shade of blusher for blonde hair and fair skin?

I'm not sure what colour suits me best...bronze looks too heavy and pink doesn't seem to suit me? I'm looking for a colour that suits my skin tone and looks natural too.

Any ideas? thank you :-)What is a suitable shade of blusher for blonde hair and fair skin?
I have pale skin and blonde hair and have found that blush with a peachy or orangey tone suits me best - it really brings my face to life and looks so natural. Pinks (even pale pinks) look false on me and red or tawny notes are just too overpowering. What is a suitable shade of blusher for blonde hair and fair skin?
    peach glow
I would say a peach colour would look best. It would be a good idea to go and speak to a make up consultant.
Natural always looks best to me.
How about a nice coral colour.
Try pale baby pinks, they always should suit pale skin and blondes. You can alternatively try peaches and apricots, but they tend to make you look orange. Pale baby pinks are good!!
pinky like dark pink reddy colour i got blonde hair n blusher i use is reali nicexx
benefit do an amazing peach blusher
Estee Lauder sheer cream blusher...it is light and natural looking!
A very pale pink or kind of peachy, apricoty colour would go well.

Can I use eye shadows as blusher?

I know that blushers are sometimes used as eye shadows.I bought a palette of eye shadows.Mainly pinks and light shimmery colors of a pinkish hue.Problem is that when I use them they are hardly visible on the eyelids and my skin color is fair. Can I use eye shadows as blusher?
Sure why not people use eyeliner as lip liner and mascara as a brow brush so go for it.Can I use eye shadows as blusher?
Yes, as long as they look natural there shouldn't be a problem. You don't want to look made up...you just want to look naturally pretty.
Yeah use them if you like them better, I did that too with a 3-set eyeshadow (covergirl I think) with a dark sparkly pink, a light sparkly pink, and a sparkly white I only used a little brush on each cheek and it worked perfectly for my skin tone and it was only a dollar in the clearance section in Jewel!
it probably wouldnt turn out too good unless you were using a light color that looks like blush you wouldnt want to use purple, green or blue isnt it all basically made up the same blush and eye shadow?
It would probably look great as long as its not an eye shadow that has a lot of glitter in it.
Doesn't matter, it's up to you. no one else would ever know.
I don't see why it would be a problem. But some eye colors are darker than blushes, and since you are fair skined, I would try just a tiny bit, before putting it on like a normal blush. Also, depending on the brand it might be harder to get off than blush..
You can do whatever you want. The make-up police won't care.
Whats it going to hurt?..........Ooh pink shimmer gives the face a sun kissed look...I say go for it.......If it doesn't work wash if off.
If it is pink go for it.
    i guess...........
yes, you can but when you use it smile and where your cheeks creat a circle right under your eyes called your ';cherrys'; apply it there in a circle

it doesn't depend on your eyes and hair, it depends on your skin tone and it's undertones.
i would suggest a light rose or pink color.
It depends on your skin tone

What colour blusher would suit me best?

I have dark brown hair, olive skin and brown eyes. I normally wear bronzer on my cheeks but fancy a change. I want to use a blusher but not sure which one. Recommendations please, colours and brands, doesnt matter about cost. What colour blusher would suit me best?
You can really wear quite a few shades. Plums, corals and bronzes would be especially nice. Some of my recommendations:

    NARS: Sin, Madly, Laguna Bronzer

Laura Geller: Pink Grapefruit Brighten blush

Bobbi Brown: Velvet Plum Pot Rouge, Calypso Coral Pot Rouge, Chocolate Cherry Pot Rouge, Bronze Shimmer Brick, Rose Shimmer Brick

    Clinique: Rich Plum

Have fun experimenting! What colour blusher would suit me best?
a fawn colour, or if u want to contrast against ur skin, then a medium sort of pinky colour, mac hav sooo many colours to choose from and theyr the best, u can use blusher to make ur cheekbones deeper or to just make u look rosy, id say use a darkish fawn colour to deepen cheekbones, or the lighter pinky colour to do the rosy girly look x julia

MAC makes good blush but you need VERY LITTLE product on the brush because if you get too much after you apply it youll look like a clown and need to wipe it off.
