Double Blusher question.. Why do you think that wearing blush is/was considered attractive and..?

Do you think that wearing it has gone out of fashion? Guys welcome to answer too..Double Blusher question.. Why do you think that wearing blush is/was considered attractive and..?
It will never go out of style...

Blushing your cheeks makes you look like you glow when you smile(If your colors right, that is), and it just over all compliments your face.

I look dead without it, and it jsut makes your face look paler, and less sculpted sanz blush.

properly applied blush shouldn't be noticeable as make-up ... might be why you haven't noticed it :) Report Abuse

at one point, only prostitutes wore it ... through another genre, properly applied blush gives the ';glow'; of walking in from a fresh winter day ... it supposedly gave the impression of good health ... most recently the goal is a combination of natural shadows and a healthy glow to make the face look thinner and/or give that healthy glow (accentuating high cheek bones and the like is considered beauty in some circles) ... to my knowledge it has not gone out of fashion ... there was a period where ';obvious'; presence of blush was common (the 80's) but it was never really ';good fashion'; when it was that obvious ... just kinda gaudy ... I think the whole ';obviously a lot of make-up'; look was never ';in'; and is often considered trashy ...

just the right amount in the right color and applied to the right areas, though, can ';brighten'; the face and make you seem healthy and lively ...
I think it highlighted the cheek bones, for those that don't have them very defined, it can add a little something to their face. I have very prominent cheek bones, so I have never worn blush. I think blush has its place and will never go out of style or be unattractive if done correctly.
